Prairie State College Classes
Students attending ILHS can enroll in classes at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights. Through the dual enrollment program, students will earn college credit transferable upon graduation. Students do not earn high school credit by taking a class through Prairie State. Seniors may enroll in PSC classes online or in person. The COMPASS test requirement is waived for students earning an ACT English score of 17 and Reading score of 22.
Click here for the Prairie State College website. Download the required eligibility and application forms. The procedure requires an appointment with a PSC counselor, the forms filled out by the student, and ILHS guidance counselor and a copy of the student’s official transcript.
