Illinois Lutheran High School Graduation Requirements

Minimum Requirements for Graduation:

  • Religion: 4 credits (1 per year of attendance)
  • English: 4 credits
  • Fine Arts: 0.5 credit
  • Math: 3 credits (Must include Algebra 1 and Geometry)
  • Physical Education: 1 credit
  • Social Studies: 3 credits (Must include American History and American Government)
  • Science: 2 credits
  • Electives: 6.5 credits

College/University Prep Recommended Program:

  • Religion: 4 credits (1 per year of attendance)
  • English: 4 credits (Composition and Speech during either 11th or 12th grade)
  • Fine Arts: 0.5 credit
  • Math: 4 credits (Include either Honors Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry or Honors Calculus)
  • Physical Education: 1 credit
  • Social Studies: 3 credits Must include American History and American Government)
  • Science: 4 credits of Laboratory Science
  • World Language: 2 credits minimum
  • Electives: 1.5 credits
