Illinois Lutheran High School Graduation Requirements
Minimum Requirements for Graduation:
- Religion: 4 credits (1 per year of attendance)
- English: 4 credits
- Fine Arts: 0.5 credit
- Math: 3 credits (Must include Algebra 1 and Geometry)
- Physical Education: 1 credit
- Social Studies: 3 credits (Must include American History and American Government)
- Science: 2 credits
- Electives: 6.5 credits
College/University Prep Recommended Program:
- Religion: 4 credits (1 per year of attendance)
- English: 4 credits (Composition and Speech during either 11th or 12th grade)
- Fine Arts: 0.5 credit
- Math: 4 credits (Include either Honors Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry or Honors Calculus)
- Physical Education: 1 credit
- Social Studies: 3 credits Must include American History and American Government)
- Science: 4 credits of Laboratory Science
- World Language: 2 credits minimum
- Electives: 1.5 credits
