Yearbook
Although much of the work on the high school yearbook goes unseen, everyday members of the yearbook staff work hard during their M period to design pages to later be published in that year’s book. They also spend numerous hours taking and cataloging pictures, doing interviews, gathering information, editing pages, selling ad spaces to businesses, and working before or after school and from home.
The yearbook staff teaches each other, experiments with cameras, and puts in hard work and laughter as we create the yearbook. Here are some skills which are taught: interviewing, journalism, design elements, and photography.
Do you have pictures that can be included in the yearbook? Contact Mr. Caleb Paul at cpaul@ilhs.org or 708.672.3262, ext. 102.
