Mrs. Kat Blumer graduated from Martin Luther College in 2005 with a Bachelors in Education. In her teaching career she has taught Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, coached multiple sports and was the school music teacher. She’s taught in Wisconsin, South Carolina and Illinois. For the last 9 years she was the Preschool Director and teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Downers Grove, Illinois. She is very excited to be continuing teaching at the preschool level!

Kat and her husband Dustin have been married since 2005. They have 2 daughters, Bella and Nadia. Kat grew up in Wisconsin near Milwaukee, but has grown to love Chicago and it’s surrounding areas! The Blumers take every opportunity they can get to explore the city and everything it has to offer!
