Forms & Fees Summer Mailing & Email

We’re trying something new this year! Around mid-summer, you will receive a mailing that includes the regular new school year information as well as the 2019-2020 fees form.

Soon after that, you will receive an email. The email will come from the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod through PowerSchool. You will receive one email per child. This email will allow you to update all of your contact information within PowerSchool. This is very important to complete, because this is the information we use to contact you in case of an emergency. You will also be able to access all of our forms online as well (this includes authorization forms and medical forms).

Please read all of the information thoroughly, complete all the necessary documents, and return to the school office in a timely manner. This assists us with a smooth transition into the coming school year. If you have any questions, please call the high school at 708.672.3262.

Call News

As previously mentioned, our board had decided to request a graduate from Martin Luther College to teach our 2nd grade class. On Saturday, May 18, we learned that Miss Megan Koester was assigned to serve as our new 2nd grade teacher. God’s blessings to her on her graduation and assignment!

Housing Needed

Illinois Lutheran Schools is beginning their annual search for families to house international students. The basic requirements for each student is that they have their own room, transportation to/from school (they can walk if living nearby and in warmer weather) and daily meals. Hot lunch will be provided during the school week. An $800 per month stipend is given to each family to offset the cost of housing a student. We understand the commitment it takes to be a part of this mission but we urge you to take this leap of faith! These teenagers need loving, dedicated and understanding families who are willing to “raise them up” as Jesus taught us. If you have any questions about the International Program, please contact Taryn Oldenburg at 815.823.3174 or toldenburg@illinoislutheran.org.
