Apply to Illinois Lutheran Schools
At Illinois Lutheran Schools, we feel that the best way to start the enrollment process is for you to personally meet with one of our administrators. At the elementary (PreK-6) building, our principal, Mr. Zach Seeger will personally meet with you for an Education Success Consultation. At the high school and junior high (Grades 7-12), our principal, Mr. Matt Moeller, will meet with you. During that meeting they will discuss the goals that you have for your child, explain the various educational opportunities we offer as well as co-curriculars and other programs. They will also give you a tour of the building and let you meet various members of the teaching staff.
As part of that meeting, they will explain the enrollment process, provide you with an application, explain our FACTS Tuition Management System and let you know how you may apply for our need-based financial assistance program.
To get started, please fill out and submit this contact form, or call our elementary campus (PreK – 6th grade) at 708.672.5969, or our junior high/high school campus (7th – 12th grade) at 708.672.3262.
Transfer Students
Illinois Lutheran accepts transfer students at the beginning of the year and, in most cases, throughout the school year. Obviously, in the case of transfer students we want to make every effort to ensure their success. Because of this, we ask that all transfer students and parents go through an Education Success Consultation with the principal. This meeting will help determine how we can best help the student during this transitional time. It may be determined that individual students may need additional support as they begin the rigor of a new school. Illinois Lutheran may provide a student mentor to help new students. We also have an after school program to give additional support. In some cases, a tutor may be recommended by school administration.
We also want students to adjust socially to their new school. Every effort will be made to include them in student body activities, both as a participant and as a spectator. We feel that involvement with their fellow classmates is essential. We will make every effort to encourage them to become a part of our school family.
If you are thinking about transferring your student to Illinois Lutheran, please remember, the earlier the better. Educational foundations and habits are laid early on in a student’s career. We also want to reach out to the student’s family and give them every opportunity to become involved with our school. New parents will be contacted by current parents and invited to attend various activities and events.
